Luke's first blog post!

I first started programing back in 9th grade, in my first ever programming class! It was AP Computer Science A, a course based on teaching the basics of java. I had tried messing around with a few things before, like code.org, or basic python, but this was the first time I actually learned how to start coding!

My favorite party of programming is the sense of accoplishment you feel after learning something new for the first time. There’s always more to learn and do, and it always feels great to finally figure out that thing you’ve been working on! I find I learn best by doing, and I hope to keep doing so!

My least favorite part would probably be repetitive, mindless tasks that sometimes do come with programming. Luckily, it’s not a very difficult or common part of it, but just a mindless thing that some tasks require. I also of course dislike when I struggle to find out what the problem in the code is, as that can get very frusturating.
